Conference Location:
Renaissance Montgomery Hotel | 201 Tallapoosa St, | Montgomery, AL 36104

Hotel Location: The primary hotel room block is at the Renaissance Montgomery. 
  • Room Block at Renaissance Montgomery Hotel & Spa at the Convention Center for $110 per night plus tax and fees. Rooms are going fast!

Day One Schedule: We will begin at 10 a.m. (CST) on Monday October 27, 2025 with opening remarks. The registration table will be open as early as 8:00 a.m. (CST) at that time you will check in, pick up your t-shirt, manage your name tag, etc. before the opening session. 

Accessing the Schedule: Please note NAPD will be doing as many things electronically as we can for this event. Closer to the conference we will email a PDF copy of the schedule. We will not have hard copies available at the conference, however you are welcome to print your own copy and bring with you.

Additional Conference Information: 
  • Community Agreement: Please make sure you have completed the
  • CLE:  For the first time, we will provide  CLE credit and certificates for this conference.  Please purchase your to take advantage of this opportunity.
  • Evaluations: Please fill out the evals through the link in the app for each  session you attend.  
  • Bonus Programming: We will offer various bonus programming throughout the conference, including our ( purchase required) , and our .  These are great ways to connect with community!  Don’t miss it!
  • Dress/Attire: Dress will be casual for the conference (jeans, t-shirts). Please note Wednesday, Oct 30th (T-Shirt Day!), and Thursday, Oct 31st, will feature tours of the Legacy Museum and the National Memorial for Peace and Justice. Both are a brief drive or walk from the hotel.  Both tours require walking, please wear comfortable shoes. 
  • Food/Snacks: We will have coffee and other drink service throughout the conference, as well as a variety of snack breaks.
  • Book Purchases & Signings: Our plenary speakers and breakout session leads may have books available for purchase and signing at the conference. We also will have books from previous RJC speakers and other banned books available for purchase with e. Please review our schedule for the dates and times of these opportunities.  
  • Merchandise: We will be selling NAPD merchandise at the conference! Cash and card are both accepted.
  • Evaluations: Please fill out the evals through the link in the app for each session you attend.
