Anana Harris Parris is a visionary entrepreneur, author, and consultant dedicated to advancing strategic self-care as a vital form of social justice. She is the founder and CEO of the Self Care Agency, LLC, the founder of the SisterCARE Alliance, and the co-founder of the Wellness & Justice Group, LLC. An expert in infrastructure development and leadership training, Anana has served as a strategic consultant for the Women of Color Initiative and as a Fractional COO Advisor, guiding over 30 business and law firm owners through operational and revenue refinement. Her corporate and legal operations expertise is anchored by a seven-year tenure as Director of Business Operations and Community Affairs for the Davis Bozeman Law Firm, where she managed everything from HR and marketing to major collaborative community projects involving thousands of participants.
An influential advocate, Anana authored the first official Self Care Day Proclamation, which is now recognized by multiple cities and counties across the Southeast. She also wrote the groundbreaking book, Self Care Matters: A Revolutionary's Approach. Her strategic training programs have been adopted by organizations nationwide, including the Southern Center for Human Rights, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the Training Division of the Administrative Office of the United States Courts, where she trained over 200 legal professionals. Her profound impact has earned her numerous accolades, including the Unsung Heroine Award from the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, the Southern Center for Human Rights Gideon's Promise Award, and a Community Service Award from the U.S. Attorney General’s Office.
